Male Immune Infertility: Antisperm Antibodies

I have seen men with anti sperm antibodies have children, and the place to start usually is IUI (as recommended by Canadian RE's). There is some evidence that the washing of the sperm 'shakes-off' antibodies, so it is definitely worth a few tries (especially after a TCM course of treatment) before jumping into IVF/ICSI.

It also seems to matter where on the sperm the antibodies are most attached to, and the amount of antibodies that are grabbing hold. This determines how slow and clumpy the sperm is. Testing this is important in giving your opinion as to whether you can help, or they should go to IVF/ICSI.

Some studies have been done on Male immune infertility. Some compare against prednisone, and repeatedly, there are positive results. So I think, with dedication from a client, it is quite possible you will help improve their situation.
