Main Action of Gui Zhi Jia Long Gu Mu Li Tang
The functions of this traditional chinese medicine formula are to restrain kidney essence while suppressing rebellion by regulating and harmonizing the yin and yang. This TCM herbal formula is best suited for conditions of yin and yang deficiency with poor communication between the heart and the kidneys. This is a consumptive disorder with essence loss as its root and is generally caused by excessive sexual activity or severe loss of blood.

Gui Zhi (Ramulus Cinnamomi Cassiae, Cinnamon, Cassia Twig) - 9g.

Bai ShaoYao (Radix Paeoniae Lactiflorae, White Peony Root, Peony) - 9g.

Long Gu (Os Draconis, Dragon Bone, Fossilized Vertebrae) - 9g.

Mu Li (Concha Ostreae, Oyster Shell) - 9g.

Sheng Jiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Officinalis Recens, Fresh Ginger Rhizome) - 9g.

Cooking Preparation of Gui Zhi Jia Long Gu Mu Li Tang
When preparing this natural chinese medicine formula a larger dosage of the minerals are generally added (15-30g). The minerals do not need to be cooked first. Today a smaller dosage of Da Zao is usually used (4 pieces) due to it’s cloying nature.
