Mu Tong (Caulis Mutong, Akebia Caulis) - 3-6g.

-clears heart heat, promote urination through small intestine

Dan Zhu Ye (Spica Prunellae Vulgaris, Selfheal Spike, Prunella) - 3-6g.

-alleviate irritability by clearing heart heat

Gan Cao Shao (Tips of Radix Glycyrrhiaze Uralensis, Tips of Licorice Root) - 3-6g.

-alleviate painful urinary dysfunction, relieves toxicity, harmonizes other herbs in formula

Cooking Preparation of Dao Chi San

This natural medicine herbal formula should be ground into equal amounts of Sheng Di Huang, Mu Tong and Gan Cao Xiao. This powder should be taken as a draft after meals in 9gram doses with a small amount of Dan Zhu Ye.

Additional Information on Dao Chi San

This alternative medicine herbal formula can treat stomatitis, nightmares, urethritis, cystitis and glomerulonephritis if the appropriate symptoms are present.
